I found Cursor on Twitter at the start of 2025 and tried it on a personal project first: an app for drawing basketball plays. I meant to use it to learn React Native. I ended up learning how to work with models instead.

When vibe coding stopped holding up, I had the model write its own documentation in markdown, with a log of every session, so the next one could pick up where the last one stopped.

At Racional I turned that into a method for the whole tech team: specs for each component, an implementation plan in small steps, one step at a time. Daniel presented the second half, on how he built Racional Money with it.

We were seven in tech. We liked to say we were fourteen.
